    Melissa Murphy, OTR/L

    CO-OWNER, OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

    After receiving her Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science and Kinesiology from Georgia Southern University, Melissa pursued her Master’s of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of St. Augustine. 

    Melissa has significant experience with medically complex diagnoses and her skilled areas of interest include treating neurological disorders/conditions, infant positioning and handling, and visual impairments. She is passionate about educating caregivers on prevention of torticollis & positional plagiocephaly, as well as treating these conditions within the clinic in order to promote independence in developmental milestones. Melissa also provides therapy intensives and performs infant assessments for Mommy and Me services at Beyond Measure.

    Chandler Edge, COTA/L, CBS

    CO-OWNER, OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT, CERTIFIED BREASTFEEDING SPECIALIST

    After pursuing an education in Early Childhood/Special Education at Mercer University, Chandler received her Associate of Science in Occupational Therapy Assistant degree from Middle Georgia State University. 

    Chandler has spent the majority of her professional career specializing in pediatrics, where her passion and knowledge surrounding the pediatric population continues to grow. Chandler has significant experience with IDEA’s thirteen categories of disabilities, primitive reflex integration, positioning and handling, sensory processing, and both sensory and infant related feeding disorders. In order to continue offering specialized care, Chandler has gone on to receive her Certified Breastfeeding Specialist certification and is a founder of the "Mommy & Me" program offered through Beyond Measure, a clinical approach to infant feeding and development.

    Tori Long, OTR/L

    OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST, LEAD THERAPIST

    After receiving her Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from Georgia College and State University, Tori pursued her Master’s of Health Science in Occupational Therapy from Augusta University.

    Tori’s passion for the pediatric population began long before her professional career, where she has worked in pediatrics since graduation. She has expanded her knowledge across various diagnoses including but not limited to Autism, ADHD, Down Syndrome, Rett Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, developmental delay, and sensory processing. Tori has specific interest and experience working with children with sensory feeding difficulties and is also well versed in treating pediatric clients with retained primitive reflexes.

    Tori has expanded her knowledge in feeding through the SOS Approach to Feeding continuing education course and has 3 years of experience implementing this approach in her feeding therapy sessions.

    Cayley Hamborg, OTR/L

    OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

    After receiving her Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a certificate in Disability Studies from the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!), Cayley pursued her Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of St. Augustine. 

    Cayley's passion since middle school has been to work with people with disabilities. This passion led her to a career in occupational therapy, where building independence and a better quality of life is the main focus of treatment. Cayley now works with the pediatric population and continues to grow her enthusiasm of helping children meet developmental milestones and grow into the most independent and confident versions of themselves. Cayley's areas of interest include sensory processing and integration, gross and fine motor development, and higher-level skills needed for self care and other daily activities.

    Reagan Gravitt, OTR/L

    OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

    After receiving her Bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation Science from Middle Georgia State University, Reagan pursued her Master’s of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences.

    Upon graduating, she accepted a job working with pediatrics. Reagan is thrilled to be a part of this career that supports children of all ages and helps them thrive! She is dedicated to helping each child reach their full potential! Reagan’s areas of interest include sensory processing, primitive reflex integration, and infant handling and positioning.

    Krysta Stokes, COTA/L, CBS

    CLINICAL MANAGER, OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY ASSISTANT, CERTIFIED BREASTFEEDING SPECIALIST

    Krysta graduated in 2015 from Middle Georgia State University. She received her Associates of Science in Occupational Therapy Assistant.

    Krysta has been practicing occupational therapy for the past 8 years in Augusta, Ga. She has experience working in geriatrics, acute care, and pediatrics. She has spent her past 5 years in management and she enjoys helping others in the clinic and the office. Her passion is working in pediatrics and she is thrilled to return to the specialty she has loved since the start of her career, here in Perry, Ga. In addition to her interest areas of fine/ gross motor development, she is also a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist. Krysta directs the Mommy & Me feeding program here at Beyond Measure.

    Rory McCarty, PT, DPT

    PHYSICAL THERAPIST

    After receiving her Bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Mary Washington, Rory pursued her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Shenandoah University.  

    Rory always wanted to work with kids and has worked with the pediatric population since 2016. She has experience working with a variety of patients with a variety of diagnoses and gross motor skills delays. Rory has experience working on functional mobility skills, torticollis, positioning and handling, coordination skills, balance skills, and strengthening. She enjoys working with kids and seeing them reach their goals.

    Leighton Jacobs, CCC-SLP

    SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST, LEAD THERAPIST

    After receiving her Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Communicative Disorders at the University of Alabama, Leighton received her Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from the University of South Alabama.

    Leighton has been a pediatric speech therapist for the past seven years. Leighton specializes in working with several diagnoses including Apraxia, Autism, Developmental language delay, Phonological impairment, neurological and/or genetic conditions, infant feeding and oral motor deficits in early childhood.

    She has been trained in AEIOU feeding therapy techniques and strongly believes in Autism acceptance and neurodiversity.

    Morgan York, CCC-SLP

    SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST

    After receiving her Bachelor's of Science in Public Health at the University of South Carolina, Morgan received her Master’s of Arts in Speech Language Pathology at South Carolina State University.

    Morgan has always had a passion for working with the pediatric population. She has specialized in working with a variety of diagnoses including developmental language delay, articulation disorder, phonological impairment, fluency disorder, pediatric feeding disorder, and oral motor deficits in early childhood. 

    Morgan has a special interest in feeding therapy and has been trained in AEIOU feeding therapy techniques.

    SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST

    After receiving her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Utah State University, Laura received her Master’s of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from East Carolina University.

    Laura has a passion for advocating for those with complex communication needs. She has experience working with early language, articulation and phonological disorders, and Autism. She loves working with pediatrics but also enjoys adult acute care and rehab.

    Mollie Cawthon, MCD-CCC-SLP

    SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST

    Mollie received her bachelor’s degree for Communication Disorders from Auburn University. After, she stayed at Auburn University and received her master’s degree of Communication Disorders.

    Mollie began her career as a speech language pathologist in 2015. She has experience working with receptive and expressive language disorders, articulation disorders, phonological impairment, fluency disorder (stuttering) across a variety of settings. Also, she enjoys working with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC).

    Kayla Martin

    PATIENT CARE/SCHEDULING COORDINATOR

    Kayla will be one of the first people you see when you enter the doors of Beyond Measure. She began working at Beyond Measure as a volunteer and now serves as the patient coordinator to manage patient scheduling and ensure their needs are met within the clinic.  Kayla can assist you with answering questions about appointments, schedule changes/updates, physician communication. Kayla received her Bachelor's of Rehabilitation Science from Middle Georgia State University in December of 2023. She enjoys all of the one-on-one interactions and growing relationships with both patients and families.

    Codi Hayes

    ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

    After obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood and Special Education at Macon State College, Codi’s passion for helping others led her into a hospital setting. There she spent 11 years in patient access customer service with 6 of those years in a supervisory position. 

    In April 2022, shortly after BM opened, her son became a patient and through the course of his treatment she saw the love and passion the BM team had for children. She knew she wanted to be a part of that team! As of May 2024, she is now part of the front office and is really enjoying getting to know all of the kiddos and their families.
